Chocolate Reese's Pieces Cookies are big chewy chocolate cookies loaded with mini peanut butter Reese's pieces. This recipe requires no chilling and is easy to create. The perfect chocolate and peanut butter cookie combination.

They are a year round type of cookie but I love how they almost look Halloween themed thanks to the chocolate cookie and colours of the Reese's Pieces.

    Why You'll Love These Cookies

Easy to make. This recipe comes together in 10 minutes and there is no chilling required.

Chewy texture. These are some BIG cookies and they have that perfect chewy cookie texture mixed with the crunchiness of the reese's pieces candies.

Taste amazing. If you have chocolate and peanut butter these cookies are for you! I love the combination of these two flavours.

    How to Make These Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium sized bowl whisk flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together. Set aside.

In a large bowl or stand mixer with the paddle attachment cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. This usually takes 2-3 minutes. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix till combined.

Add the flour mixture in and mix till just combined. Set 1/3 C of the mini reese's pieces aside and the rest into the dough and gently fold in with a rubber spatula.

Scoop 3 tbsp worth of the cookie dough and shape into a ball and place on your lined baking sheet 2 inches apart. Using the extra reese's pieces, add them on top of the cookie dough balls.

Bake for 10 minutes or until edges and top are set. Let the cookies cool on the pan until room temperature.

    Storing the Cookies

These cookies should be stored at room temperature in an airtight container. Cookies keep well up to 5 days after baking.

Can I Make the Cookies Smaller?

Yes, you definitely can! For smaller cookies scoop 1.5 tbsp worth of dough into balls, still place them 2 inches apart on your baking sheet. Bake cookies for 8-9 minutes or until edges and top are set.

    How to Get Round Cookies

As soon as the cookies come out of the oven use a round cookie cutter slightly larger than the cookies themselves and gently swirl the cookie around. This will give the cookie a perfectly round shape.
