Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies
These mint chocolate chip cookies are thick and chewy peppermint flavoured cookies and full of chocolate chips.
– salted butter
– white sugar
– green food colouring
– peppermint extract
– all purpose flour
– baking soda
– baking powder
– mini chocolate chips
Cream butters and sugars until fluffy. Mix in greed food colouring, eggs, and peppermint extract.
In a second bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients into wet and mix until combined.
Using a rubber spatula fold in the mini semi sweet chocolate chips.
Scoop dough into 3 tbsp sized balls and place on baking tray. Bake until bottoms are golden brown.
This cookie is great for St. Patricks Day or Christmas holiday baking.
