Strawberry Cream Cheese Heart Danishes

These delicious strawberry cream cheese heart danishes are perfect for Valentines Day Best of all the recipe is easy to make! Sweet cream cheese with strawberries on puff pastry cut into cute hearts.

Ingredients

– 1 sheet store bought puff pastry – 4 oz cream cheese – 2 tbsp white sugar – 1/2 tsp vanilla – red food colouring – 1/2 C diced strawberries – 1 large egg – 1 tbsp cold water

To Make the Filling

Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together until light and fluffy. Add in a few drops of red food colouring.

Assembling

Roll out the thawed pastry and using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut into 7-9 hearts

Spread on the cream cheese mixture and diced strawberries

Brush edges with the egg wash. Then bake till golden brown.
